About Mario
My name is Mario. I am an artist living and working In the Boston MA area.
As long as I can remember I've always been holding a pencil, marker or crayon in my hands and have always loved drawing.
I discovered realistic art in middle school while taking a drawing class.
During the 2020 pandemic I spent hours studying photos and how to convert the details into my drawings. The gift of the Quarantine was time. While at home, I got to experiment and practice with colored pencils, my favorite medium. I
researched techniques and followed lessons on YouTube helping me to improve my drawing skills.
I now specialize in creating realistic colored pencil wildlife and bird drawings. I am grateful for the extra time I’ve had to help to expand my skills and work on a portfolio of drawings that I am proud of. Now I am excited to share my art with others.
